IPv6 vs IPv4 proxies for XEvil and XRumer
Use the wrong proxy type and nothing works. IPv6 proxies are for XEvil's ReCaptcha solving; IPv4 proxies are for the posting your software does. Here's the difference and when to use each.
This is the single most useful thing to understand about proxies for automated link building: IPv6 and IPv4 proxies do different jobs, and you generally want both.

| IPv6 proxies for XEvil | IPv4 proxies for posting | |
|---|---|---|
| Best job | Solving Google ReCaptcha in XEvil | Posting & submitting (GSA SER, XRumer, Scrapebox) |
| Cost | Cheaper — vast IPv6 address space | Higher per proxy |
| Speed | ~30% faster than IPv4 (per provider) | Standard |
| Site support | Only sites that support IPv6 (Google does) | Universal — every site |
| Concurrent load | Up to ~10,000 connections | Lower per proxy |
| Blacklist risk | ~40% lower (per provider) | Standard |
| Authorisation | IP authorisation | IP or username / password |
| Starts at | $15 / mo | $8.80 / mo |
Performance figures for the IPv6 proxies (speed, concurrency, blacklist rate) are as reported by Asia Virtual Solutions. Prices are the current starting figures on their product pages (June 2026).
Use IPv6 proxies for XEvil (ReCaptcha solving)
Google's ReCaptcha supports IPv6, so IPv6 proxies work perfectly for the captcha-solving half of the job. Because IPv6 addresses are so plentiful, providers can sell large rotating pools cheaply — the XEvil IPv6 package starts at $15/month for 50 threads and scales to 1000. They're also reported to run about 30% faster than IPv4 and to carry a roughly 40% lower blacklist risk. The catch: IPv6 proxies only reach sites that support IPv6, and most websites don't — which is why you don't post through them.
Use IPv4 proxies for posting (GSA SER, XRumer, Scrapebox)
The actual submitting — forum posts, profiles, comments — happens on ordinary websites, and almost all of them are IPv4-only. For that you need IPv4 proxies. Asia Virtual Solutions' IPv4 proxy service starts at $8.80/month and comes as dedicated or semi-dedicated, with the usual rule of thumb of one proxy per ten threads. They're compatible with GSA Search Engine Ranker, RankerX, SEO NEO, Scrapebox and similar tools.
What about hCaptcha?
These XEvil IPv6 proxies are made for Google's ReCaptcha. They won't solve hCaptcha — that's a different system. If your targets are ReCaptcha-gated (most are), IPv6 proxies are exactly right.
